can i ask what dna test you took? i’m 16 now and although im not adopted, my parents were cut off from most of their relatives so i don’t know my family. my grandmother on my moms survived a canadian residential school and i think it would be really nice to connect with them.

I went 19 years thinking I only had one sibling. when I was 20 I found old photos my dad had in the bottom drawer of his tool box. that's when I learned i have a half brother who was placed for adoption. I found him and got to meet him for my 22 birthday. I'm wishing you the best luv.

We have so many similarities, I’ve spent 14 years looking for my biological father knowing nothing but a name, his siblings name and that we share the same ears, on my birthday I bought a dna test and found him a month ago and we have slowly started building a relationship and getting answers I’ve spent most of my life looking for. Unless you’ve lived it you’ll never understand how it feels, what feeling each crumb of information gives and when you finally see faces. I’m here if you ever need anyone that some what gets it 🖤
