Why on earth are you acting like the room essentials microfiber (aka 100% polyester), 170 thread count sheets are comparable are in any way comparable to the hollister 100% cotton percale 250 thread count sheets. The RE sheets are significantly cheaper bc they’re a significantly worse product!

I do like your perspective but I raise you, I’ve been searching for sheets and a bed set that I really like for MONTHS, and this has been the only kinds I’ve seen that I genuinely want. Typically 100% cotton sheets are pricey, (im lucky enough to only need a twin size) so the extra 5-10$ is worth it for me.

imo it is a special collab so i think the price is reasonable enough considering the economy we live in. plus, people are paying for the brand name and special event/collab, not for items similar to them. (the ones you pointed out after showing the collab pieces)
