in my hometown, there’s a highway that connects a fair bit of the outside more rural areas to the rest of the town. They did construction on one side of the highway, and it took them so long to do it the other side of the highway needed construction by time it was done. It’s not a very big highway either and they only worked on this one little part for like 9+ years.

Ha my mom hired a guy a month ago for her kitchen, I did demo, prepped, they get started andddd our general contractor gets a "driving suspended + repeat offense" and has been in jail almost 3 weeks now 💀 but his wife is in contact, all purchased material is in our barn, or at the cabinet makers. Plus like 5-6k of tools stayed in the empty kitchen 😂 they will come back and finish it, on budget. One way or another 😅
