Maybe it’s what your mind has been trained to look for. Some people walk into a home and notice the warmth. The laughter. The kindness. The effort. Others walk in looking for flaws. For imperfections. For something to criticise. What we focus on often reflects what’s happening inside us. A grateful heart notices blessings. A judgmental heart notices faults. No home is perfect. No person is perfect. If all you ever search for are imperfections, you’ll find them everywhere you go. But if you look for goodness, generosity, and love, you’ll find those too. The world often reflects the lens through which we choose to see it.
