I am currently on a very low dose of testosterone. Mine was in the toilet and I felt tired and lethargic all the time so my provider said let’s do a very small dose of testosterone. I am less than a month in and I’ve gained so much weightand I feel swollen all the time in my legs and ankles. I have not changed my diet I continue to go to the gym almost every day, but the swelling and the weight gain is getting out of control. Has anyone else experience this?

I was doing a 10mg injection once a week. Felt extreme rage. Now doing 10mg injection every 12 days. Now feel human. Can't say i have noticed any recomposition, but do have the energy to lift heavy at the gym.

Body recomposition will most likely not happen on Test alone. You'll see change with addition of strength training.

My FYP is hilarious because I literally just got my first testosterone results today. My Total is 7.5 and my free is 0.16. 😂 No wonder I feel like an apathetic zombie.

I have been injecting for 2 yrs. Numbers run in the low 200s testing twice a year. Maybe a few more chin hairs, but I just derma-plane a few times a week. I strength train min 5 days a week, and live a very healthy lifestyle. Absolutely love what all the changes have done to my body. Best yet at 48. I wouldn’t change a thing! Keep at it, you will love it!

My face looked like a teenagers! It’s was awful and I couldn’t sleep! 3 years I was told I had rosacea!!! I’ve gone off and my face has cleared! Why didn’t the drs know this? I figured it out,,,.my T showed high on bloodwork! 3 drs didn’t know! Boooooo!

Just out of curiosity what is a hormone optimization specialist? As a gyn that does hormones I always wonder what that means? I see patients all the time that tell me this but they often don’t know what their provider trained in. I am happy that the medical community has finally caught up to the benefits of hrt but it is a bit of the wild Wild West out there.

I take a 11mg injection weekly and I’m at 147. I’ve been at that level for awhile now. I don’t notice a bug difference in body composition yet.. but I am having the same facial hair issue. I can shave it off and it’s back in 24 hrs or less. I don’t have any bloating from it though.
