Before that post got deleted I commented that these are the most basic, normal tests to even ask for if you’re feeling off. My pcp runs these if I have the sniffles 😂

Those with chronic conditions HAVE to know these things. It's so hard to get a diagnosis, much less care, that you have to become a super advocate for yourself or your loved ones. 🙄

ANYONE with any kind of chronic illness or issue has to learn what is going on. My wife knows WAY more about allergies, for example, than many actual Allergy Specialists.

I saw a cardiologist and he told me I needed to stop talking so medically because I’m “leading doctors to the diagnosis I want”. I already had my diagnosis and I was just seeking treatment.

I was misdiagnosed for years by my lazy PCP with fibromyalgia and if it weren't for my extensive online research I would've never gotten my correct diagnoses of MCAS, ehlers danlos, and dysautonomia . It was ALL me and advocating for testing and specialist referrals. My diagnoses were confirmed and it was so validating .

these are basic ass labs and are extremely common and ROUTINE. literally a fucking urine culture, thyroid panel, and complete blood count.
