🤣Universal healthcare 🤣 taxpayers foot the bill for decades and the healthier you are the less you get out of it. It’s mandatory and still doesn’t cover everything. Still have to pay out of pocket for healthcare plans. And the services/prescriptions are astronomical

Universal healthcare means socialist healthcare, which means government run healthcare, which means bad healthcare and not timely healthcare. The problem is the relationship to insurance companies. Get rid of having to have insurance and make healthcare practices actually compete for your business and all the sudden prices drop.

The US has healthcare as a commodity. Its only limit in use is how much you can pay for it. Other countries have healthcare as a government service, limited by how much the government will pay. . Fortunately, US incomes are so drastically higher than others, we can afford healthcare costs and STILL be way above all others in disposable income.

So many people in the comments not understanding that you can have both systems. Most countries with universal healthcare also have private hospitals and health insurance for those that can afford it. It's not one or the other.
