It’s an ululation that is mostly used at weddings or graduations, but it’s generally performed by women across Arab and North African countries to celebrate joyful events. Adhan is more of a longer melodic call to prayer recited in Arabic.

As an Arab that’s not an Islam thing its more a cultural thing even if you’re not Muslim. it’s a zaghrouta not Adhan. Adhan is the call to prayer that mosques play five times a day and zaghrouta is a celebration sound that is in our culture.
