@gardenwithsophia: Most crops thrive with a light feeding every 2–3 weeks, depending on soil quality and plant needs. Consistency beats intensity. Small, regular feedings keep nutrients available without overwhelming your soil or plants. #GardenWithSophia #FertilizerFriday #AskTikTok #TikTokDoYourMagic
I legit give a half dose or 1/3 every watering when they are actively growing the food part👀 like my tomatoes and beans and peas and lettuce are all getting fed every water now personally

While fertilizer for sure helps, plants collect most of their mass through the air.

If you got good soil, once a week, depending if it’s flowering or budding. Roots Organics all the way! Terp Tea for the win, for me… never let me down! Tent or outdoor plants… good luck!♥️👍

Well it greatly depends on so many factors, ag zone, direction of sun, humidity, biomass in the soil, the management of the garden, it also matters what you’re growing and what type of fertilizer is even required for the species and the foreknowledge of what was planted where in the past remember each type of plant has their own soil interactions, there is no one size fits all. For general purpose I like fish emulsion 5-1-1 and I use fish bloom 0-10-10 for flowers and heavy feeding vegetables, I do a guano 30-20-20 for roses as well as the other two to follow up. All organic choices with longer form nitrogen that doesn’t just wash out of the soil, I also inoculate with mycelium for good soil interactions and micronutrients benefit to make sure the food I’m growing is health and nutrient dense not only for my family and my bees but for the soil.

Just enough to make it grow vegetables and not so much that it kills the plant

I use liquid fertilizer about every week and use granular every two weeks. This is during summer and both organic. In winter I’ll use less granular and cut back to two weeks on the liquid. It depends on weather, the type of plant, and the time I have for it to grow before I need that space for another plant. If it rains a lot then I use liquid weekly no matter what.

I fertilize at least every two weeks with organic comfrey tea. Especially if the plants are fruiting. Also use organic pellet fertilizer at least once a month.

What works for me is I use a general fertilizer all the time, but increase with a 12-15-30 vegetable feed/tomato feed every 9 days. I also use osmocote when I till or plant in a pot. Every garden is different so what works for me might not work for you and your conditions.

I use well rotted chicken manure through the veg phase then switch to about 3/4 potash 1/4 chicken manure for fruiting. but I agree that you definitely need to cut the nitrogen during fruit

I use organic granular fertilizer whenever i feel like it 😂 no but use as instructed, usually once before bud break, once after flowering, and definitely stop by the fall. Also use diluted urine on the plants like weekly? No measurements, just feels
