@emmadoo0: these clips are the last time we cleaned it as an airbnb before listing it for sale, it was bittersweet! (but mostly sweet 😅) #investmentproperty #sellingmyhouse #airbnbhost
Changing lightbulbs seems like a bit much to ask the seller in my opinion, but to each their own!

We requested the sellers furniture when we bought bc we had four kids and our stuff was old and not worth moving! Also, we ask the sellers to make all health and wellness updates identified by the inspector. But not the small things like a lightbulb

I asked my seller to change light bulbs because I can’t lift my arms above my head to maybe it’s a medical thing

Changing light bulbs is not normal. I’ve purchased 5 homes and never heard of a request like that.

How does it work where you are? After the inspection when the buyers asked for stuff to be done, can you refuse?

sold our home in co, completely furnished as well, so we could move to ENC. we didn't want to have to pay to ship that stuff across the country. the guy who bought it was single, maybe just back from the military? but he got a full gym & pool table, & fully set up dog run.

I hate the nickel and diming. When we sold our last house our best offer tried to offer high then ask for an insane amount after inspection but we simply said no, gave them a fair small amount for things that actually needed fixing, and that worked. I think it was their realtors strategy for putting in the highest offer then trying to get back what they could during inspection.

When we sold our house, the buyers wanted us to paint the kitchen cabinets. We said no. They wanted some of our furniture, we also said no. They still bought it. 🤷🏼♀️

when i bought my first house I was told to put everything in the asking at the start bc it was a negotiation and adding stuff we didn't care about left room for us to push for the things we did by dropping the little stuff

When we brought our house, we couldn't get the sellers to do anything at all! We had to put $20,000 into the foundation before we could even get the clear to close. It still needs a new roof, 2 out of 3 porches need to be replaced, and the list goes on.

My last house, I asked them to have the HVAC serviced before I took possession. It was winter and I was new to the area and didn't want to deal with the hassle right away.
