teacher in charge of the trip has ultimate responsibility. if they feel that child cannot conduct themselves appropriately and safely then surely they have the right to refuse to take them or if forced to relinquish accountability.

Prom is a school trip. We have a qualifying incentive with a 3-strike policy and every year 20 odd don’t make it due to their choices. They all beg at the end for us to change our minds- we don’t. They have to learn as he says.
