ok so like don’t use ecogpt use local ai models they are way better for the environment and don’t use water, about the trees thing they could just plant them if they really cared (as far as I’m aware)

isn't ecogpt just a greenwashed version of chatgpt that claims it uses 10% less power than chatgpt? also ecogpt's data center (and most data centers) still emits carbon emissions in our air, so maybe we should not use Generative AI in general imo
