Feeling like you just took the words out of my mouth,Ronaldo isn’t cr7 anymore he supposed to play like a pure 9 (like giroud) just being a box merchant sit there all day waiting for crosses and holes to get the ball through the deffence. It’s seem like the manager just dosent give a dam about changing tactics and only players - for me leao and concecao (I 100% misspelled that) should be the wingers cause they’re the most creative and quick wingers which is exactly what you need to make crosses and create opportunities for your 9. What giroud offered is completely different to what Ronaldo can offer. For starters Giroud is a target man, and he occupied defenders a lot. Ronaldo is a final action attacker at this point, so the best way to maximize his use is by spamming crosses and final third entries. Completely different dynamics.

My issue is that the play is so obvious, the pass will always end with Ronaldo. And if the team can't find another way and they can't play together, then just bench him or don't call him up for the next cycle see how it goes, but you'll never find out until you do that
