I gotta be honest. Rooftop tents make me irrationally angry. The whole goal of camping is to get away from the car. You still have to set them up, they’re extremely expensive, and you can only camp where you drive. 😅

For an suv I think a rooftop tent is worth it but for a truck a camper is a must. I’ve done both and the camper changed my life to the better

Love having a rooftop tent. I can keep my sleeping pad, pillow, blankets, and everything else in there and close it up. Way easier to setup & tear down

If you have a truck why not just get a truck bed tent and air mattress? Practically the same thing but way cheaper
