Yes, from research, saltwater fish do drink water from the sea as the water naturally leaves their body, but as for freshwater fish, it’s different. They don’t drink water because they don’t need to, freshwater fish already have enough water enter and exit their gills, eyes, etc. This answers the video

Saltwater fish constantly drink water and get rid of salt, freshwater fish constantly take in salt and get rid of water in their body. That’s called osmoregulation.
