Y’ALL, use LinkedIn to find jobs!! Set your search filters to Past 24 Hours and adjust the distance to whatever works best for where you live so you’re seeing the newest jobs closest to you. Then go to the company’s actual website and apply there!! I never called to follow up on my applications because I had anxiety, but I still ended up getting an interview and getting hired with no experience. 😭 That said, I don’t recommend doing what I did. I spent a whole year applying and just hoping someone would get back to me, and I got lucky. Following up on your application can definitely help your chances.

It took me a year and a half to find a job. I applied to 60 different places and got 2 responses (they were rejections). The only way I got a job is by a program where I had to compete with 216 teenagers for 34 different job 😭

I was apply to jobs all of June now I work at chipotle but the afternoon so I get out at like 10:30pm 😭

people say if u apply during summer it’s almost impossible but don’t stop i got hired last week at jersey mikes, (have a 2nd job through school i started yesterday) and 2 starbucks emailed me yesterday saying they wanted to interview me but i can’t take them cus i already have 2 jobs and im 16.. so keep applying and go in person to follow up with ur application and be consistent like push them until u get hired it’s not what i did but a lot of people do and get hired so good luck
