I’m always confused by American ‘pickles’ - we call them Gherkins and they are brined in vinegar, water, a little sugar and herbs… but I always hear Americans talk about ‘sour’ or ‘half sour’ and I have no idea what that means … do you do salt brines or vinegar brines?
