@andyhdr: Why I use Flash👇🏼 Like all other photography techniques, Flash is just another tool on the tool belt. There are two primary uses for flash for interior photography Option 1: displayed in the first example, Flash is excellent for removing rouge colors and color cast. I took flash photos while in 3 diffrent locations. Near the camera, to the left of camera, and to the right of camera. This is the process I do for 95% of rooms, the flash above the camera is used as a safety layer in most cases, allowing me to have a good base line for my colors and luminance. My flash pops for either side of the room illuminate the adjacent walls and since I do them from either side, I'm able to use a simple layer mask to remove myself from the image. Lastly I'll shoot the windows with light to do a window pull. These flash photos are blended together and an ambient bracket that's blended together is put on top to even out the images luminosity Option 2: displayed in the second example. Flash can be used to control the light direction it's self, giving the photographer far more control of their image. You'll notice the second raw image of the kitchen is front lit, and covered in color casts from the outside window that was behind me and every other color in the room. We don't want our images to be front lit almost ever, it's ugly and there's not a lot of contrast or detail in the image, by introducing a single light source from the left side in a 7tt reflective umbrella, we're able imatate a natural light source and create depth. Golden rule for lighting with or without flash, your light should be perpendicular to your camera or behind your subject(I.E Backlight) the benefit of flash is that when your scene isn't back lit, you can make it back lit. There's going to be comments that assert that HDR is better While HDR is far far easier since it's a simple camera setting and trigger press, it offers no control of your environment. Thank you for reading, Comment any questions and I'll try to get back to you! #realestatephotography

The raw looked more natural. The edited version is too much of a circus vibe.

Curious why you choose flash over normal bracket shooting?

I really just think it’s a matter of taste. Some people prefer the look of available light capture; some want controlled source capture. When I did retouching work for this kind of shooting, I always found the amount of work done on the processing side amounted to about the same. Just different techniques.

Sadly buyers won’t make a decision if they saw the before or after. Wouldn’t change their mind in the slightest.

I think autohdr brakes makes more sense and 99 percent of buyers do not notice the difference, this makes more sense for houses above 5 mil

Why do you take like 30 frames? Genuinely asking as someone who shoots flambient with 1 ambient and 1-2 flashes depending on the room?
