yes I agree they don’t care about representation but the message is reaching the wrong types of people, like so many racist and homophobic people are agreeing with that and so the message becomes borderline homophobic/racist without the original person’s intention being that.

yeah, agree! speaking as a chinese, racial diversity is going to be very difficult to get in a chinese gacha game bc the conventional "attractive standard" is pale skin etc. not saying i agree with it, but there is a correlation here that darker tanned skin = poor/ lower SES bc they're apparently "working under the sun" (hard to explain). also ya, the ccp is pretty hard on lowering lgbt movements. it's not illegal by any means in the sense that you can openly be in queer relationships but promoting it is unfortunately another story 🙁
