I've got two that stand out in my career. 1: We had a new orthopedic trauma surgeon, who was a D.O, and a major ass who was at best a mediocre surgeon, the patients would ask if he was a good doctor, we would tell them that all of our orthopedic MD's are excellent surgeons, remember, he was a DO lol. 2: I'm a trauma scrub tech, and was assisting in some kind of laparoscopic surgery, running the camera so he could see what the anatomy was for the surgery, and he mentioned to me, that out of all the nurses in the O.R, I suck the least at driving the camera, I was like, thanks, I think lol.

after c section I needed more surgeries and after those surgeries the surgeon was looking at my belly (stretchmarks and now also several horizontal cuts) and said "wow when you are feeling better we should play a game of chess on your belly". I was dying laughing and the nurses looked like they wanted to kill him😆😆

There has been so much movement to stop out right verbal abuse in hospitals with nurses, techs Docs, etc. That we had to learn to be more creative.

I was getting my gallbladder out .. nurses/anesthesia all ready . It was my birthday- the doctor rolled in 2 hours late and started screaming at them . I said your not working on me with that attitude 😂😂😂

i'm an artist my hand is trained to be very steady, when i went for a surgery one nurse asked me to hold something while they prep me, one surgeon remarked "if any of your hand is less stable than that, leave now"
