The machine observing it caused the change. Not the observing they learning nothing from this.

this is supposed to confirm quantum science and string theory apparently....but what if this double slit experiment is flawed? isnt that more likely? an electron behaving differently if you measure/look at it or not...wtf? ...signed Acuum

Let me break it down for everyone. It’s not that we “observe it”, therefore the particles behave differently. It’s that whatever medium we use TO observe the particles as they travel, disturb them and make them behave differently than expected the way we “see” is dues to light bouncing off of matter/particles and entering our eyes (like a sonar) light travels near instantaneously and that allows us to see at light speed. The light used to observe the particles bounce off of them and create movement

what if the double slit experiment is a representation of the big bang and multiple realities.

this research was groundbreaking, and helped lead to other breakthroughs that would not have been possible otherwise, such as one in the pink, two in the stink.

this isnt a good simulation because we observe it

Here's the fascinating part of this experiment. That we were looking in the wrong direction regarding wave form collapse. It isn't consciousness that collapses the wave... its *information*. In other words, we are one step closer to proving that information is fundamental to reality, and maybe even deeper than that. The implications are quite.... horrifying and beautiful. What if matter, energy, gravity, and time are just manifestations of information. Ponder that, my friends

it's as simple as this, our measuring of the experiment (sensor) is interacting with the protons. and somewhere either slightly before or after the measurement we alter it. not by simply observing but by an unknown interference. but I'm sure you think the world is an onion and there's infinite yous running around as kings on other planets.

Observation means bouncing a photon off an electron. That’s how you detect it, that’s why the wave function collapses and “chooses a side”

the experiment didn't change reality, it changed our perception of reality.

its not bc someone is viewing it, its bc something is interacting with it

I actually enjoyed this visual because it shows that there is kickback as well that the energy doesn't just travel forward some of it ends up going back so when you get into the further implications of the experiment that suggests that the wavelike function is probability wave suggesting that there's multiple outcomes in that moment and the observer being what snaps said wave back into a solid state it shows the present directly affecting the future in a visual state as that energy is still one just being dispersed to the present in the future and once collapsed to a solid point.

the bottom line is that particles that make up everything change their behavior depending on whether they are observed or not. the implications of this are actually staggering when you speak to the observed universe.

This proves absolutely nothing, the only one is the interpretation .Incidentally, the light photons behave as expected

This is why it's called theory. Because we truly don't know what the fuck we're doing.
We do tests and if the outcome is as expected, then we claim to have proven. Until further advancements help us to disprove ourselves again, it's the basis of how we move forward and get better
