Mecca seems to have handled both Rhode launches really well, which I won’t lie - I’ve been surprised about both times as I’ve fully expected to be fighting for my life at Mecca to get what I wanted.

It’s disappointing that so much work went into creating hype around this launch and we were all so excited about it and then when it came to actually getting the products into people’s hands they flopped 😢 why launch earlier than stores if people end up getting it in stores first anyway? Not to mention so many people receiving incorrect orders or like myself faulty items 😩 they definitely need to learn from this launch for the next one!

i’ve worked in pick and packing before and it’s not hard to get peoples orders out. yes if there is an overload of orders it’s harder and you can’t do much if you run out of stock but there is no excuse if they have all the stock of what you’ve ordered and yet they’re shipping orders placed after you first

At this point I have not had a single good experience shopping direct with rhode. I woke at 2 am sat in line placed my order albeit minus 1 item. And it has been silence ever since. No freebie email. Just an instagram response saying keep waiting. 😏

I think people forget that people work hard for their money & then buy things they want to enjoy to not receive items. I’m still waiting for my rhode order to arrive 😅 I’m not as excited now

I purposely waited for Mecca so I could go up another Beauty Loop level, from ordering to it being delivered took 31 hours, I felt so sorry for all the people that ordered from the Rhode website, glad I waited

I think we all get disappointed when something has such a huge hype around it and then shipping takes forever. Especially from a bigger company that knows these things will be in demand.

Yeah I didn’t even bother with the website launch and decided to wait for the Mecca launch given its winter in Aus anyway. I went in store and got everything and it was not hectic. I’m in SA and I think there is only 3 stores here and I thought it would be hectic and it was so chill haha

I get it. I hate the phrase “first world problems”. Yes its not a necessity yo live but it is a usually a joy -and business is business. I recently had to write a student guide (book with all the information for a course), it was draining and boring and required a lot of research (anything that is related to oh&s and law usually is!! -I much prefer the medical courses) but I didn’t complain bc I am lucky to work from home where I can write - and do it around my family. The odd teaching day is also good but I do more writing. We can’t just complain or vent and then move on without being told that our annoyances are not valid. So, vent away, I will understand and validate you.
