I just showed my 7 year old a few of your videos so she could see what healthy long hair in our texture could look like. She’s been wearing twists for like 3-4 weeks and then I take them down for twist out. She’s getting tired of the same style but it grows her hair. Thank you for the inspiration.

I feel like those “cute styles” break people’s hair off. I don’t do them anymore. Just keeping them in twists or silk presses oddly enough is what retains length for me.

Naw when I did that my hair was the healthiest I wore twist up for a week or two rocked a twist out then I would wash it and twist it back up and repeat

my hair is waist length curly and thigh length straight i only wear a wash and go a straighten 3x a year and i get highlights every so often
