You all completely missed the point of Reece wanting to leave dcc. She stated how the fame is too overwhelming for her. She wants to live a quiet life without being noticed all the time. Her husband even admitted that he wasn’t acting fairly towards her in the height of her fame. I don’t understand why when a women makes the decision to settle down with THEIR HUSBAND, you all attack him calling him controlling when in reality there are many valid reasons as to why she retired

I don’t think people understand how demanding it is to be a DCC both physically and mentally. She gave it her all for 3 years and was probably Ready to return to some sort of normalcy. Working your ass off for minimal pay is not fun, considering she can make way more on her own now through social media, get to live where she wants, and not have to push your self to physical limits sounds like a much better life. I’m sure her husband has seen more of what she’s gone through the last few years than we have on social media and a tv show so yes he may have pushed for this some but probably out of love and care for her more than any thing. People are horrible online…

Honestly if you watched the season 3 you saw how hard it is for them when they see rude and mean things that people comment on them online. So why are people still being rude and ugly to these women? I will not understand it.

I think it’s pretty evident that DCC took a toll on her and that had nothing to do with her husband. I think he was trying to find a way to fully support her. She has always shared her full interest in being a florist. She completed her dream of being a DCC and people should leave her alone. Just because they think she should have done five years and be captain doesn’t mean she has to.

Honestly good for her. People were JUMPING to conclusions about her marriage based on nothing but their own bias. At a certain point you can’t just sit by and let people unfairly bash your partner.

I’m on the fence about him but why are people acting like your partner or relationship don’t weight in the decision making ? Yes dance is her passion, DCC was a dream and she did it for 3 years !! Maybe she’s tired, maybe the job was to heavy on their relationship and she took this decision with everything in mind and sometimes tou have to compromise to make your marriage work

I think she is where she wants to be. I think she most likely has alot of the same values and views as her husband and agrees with him. but, I also think she knows nothing else. wish her all the best and hope she always shines.

As much as I believe he did influence her decision & I feel like this is what he wanted.. she also is a grown married women whose allowed to make her own choices on what’s best for her family. She seemed very overwhelmed with the fame and not something she was comfortable with. People forget that you can be grateful and love what you do while still being overwhelmed and unhappy with instant fame. Not everybody wants to be famous on THAT level and that’s totally okay 💞 if she says she’s happy with her decision then we need to respect her and her decision. She didn’t look happy this past season she looked completely drained. I hope she gets her sparkle back ✨

I think if she really didn’t want to leave she would still be on the team. They’re married so they made this choice together and going from just being a DCC to a Netflix star is a whole different challenge on its own. Getting certain takes, being filmed at home and if you mess up there’s retakes and more expectations on what they want for content etc. I think being watched to that degree is exhausting. There is so much more to this woman then just being a cheerleader and I think she clearly values those other qualities.

People forget that will said in season 1 said “it’s my dream to pursue this woman” and forgot season 2 showing how he did what he could to support her. Like he ADORES her. How polite Reece was defending Will I think says ALOT like yall need to leave them alone this is probably a big reason she left…
