@elvii.sweets: Beignets ✨🤍 Tianas famous beignets recipe from princess & the frog 🐸😋🤍 Ingredients 500g all-purpose flour (4 cups) 7g instant yeast (2¼ tsp) 50g granulated sugar (¼ cup) 1 tsp salt 240ml warm milk (1 cup) 1 egg 60g melted butter (¼ cup) 1 tsp vanilla Oil for frying Powdered sugar for coating Honey Instructions In a bowl add the warm milk, sugar, and yeast then let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Add the egg, vanilla, and melted butter then whisk. Add the flour and salt then mix until a soft dough forms. Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1-2 hours or until doubled. Roll the dough to about ½ cm thick then cut into squares. Cover the squares and let them rest for 20-30 minutes. Heat the oil to 175°C then fry the beignets for about 1-2 minutes per side until golden. coat with powdered sugar and drizzle honey while they’re still warm.
