@bri_chief: A few more hospital memories I never wanted to make. lol 7 days was all it took and now my life got flipped upside down. After more tests and conversations with my doctors, I’ve learned that my surgery is much more complex than we initially hoped. Because of that, they’re having to assemble a team of specialists to perform it safely. Right now, the focus is no longer rushing into surgery, it’s managing my pain until everything is in place. It’s been difficult physically and mentally. Some days I feel defeated, and other days I’m just trying to make it through the next hour. But I’m holding onto hope that this team will give me the best chance at getting my life back. Thank you to everyone who has checked in, prayed for me, sat with me in those cold hospital rooms, donated, or simply reminded me I’m not alone. Your support has made all of this a little bit easier.
