@ladylaurauk: Yes I’m showing off my big endo belly. Similar symptoms between endo and adeno. To help raise awareness that this is not a normal side effect from periods. Your tummy should not be this distended during your cycle. Day 1-2 for me are the worst, constipation, bloating that causes your tummy to extend so much you think it’s going to pop, burping because everything is inflamed and I have bowel endo, fatigue, pain that causes you to stop doing general tasks and requires heavy breathing and concentration to do anything, and may cause you to stop in your tracks, a heavy pressure in your vagina and or rectum, possible nausea and shooting pains in your legs, rectum, tummy, shoulder etc can all be symptoms of endo! Please if you’ve been to your doctors 3+ times about your symptoms, please ask to see a specialist as this is your right to do so, or at least to have an ultrasound(which may pick up cysts/endo/significant Adeno,or if it’s Deep Infiltrating Endo DIE) if they’re trained and/ or MRI which doesn’t disprove endo/adeno but can be used to diagnose if it’s significant enough to show up, ask for 1mm scan on MRI to pick up the most detail! #endometriosis #adenomyosis #endosymptoms #adenomyosissymptoms #endobelly
