@cupidsmatcha: One thing I appreciate about this brand is that they partner directly with farmers where they adhere to strict JAS Organic Certifications. They manage a chemical free environment three years before harvesting. Most matcha on the market are a blend of cultivars and harvest dates, whereas this @muachatea okumidori is single cultivar, first harvest and stone milled. The result is an astonishing green, impeccable smooth texture and a depth of flavor that is most appreciated in a koicha or usucha. You can definitely enjoy this in a latte, though you might need to use more matcha to achieve a pronounced flavor. I’m going to enjoy this as a thick tea/thin tea 💚.
