@explorewithimi: Located in Guelph/Eramosa, Rockwood Conservation Area is a hidden gem located an hour outside of Toronto. From Barrie it is approximately 1h30. This beautiful conservation area offers spectacular campgrounds along with day use for visitors. Parking is $9.50, giving you day access and loads of available parking spots. Rockwood offers kayaking and canoeing along the Eramosa river. You can enjoy the huge standing rocks and find multiple small caves along the river. Hiking trails are also available. We decided to keep it short and simple and do the Pothole trail and Cedar ridge trail- a perfect loop trail at 3km. Along the trail we were able to enter caves, see huge pothole rocks, enjoy a spectacular lookout and enjoy the ruins of the Harris Woollen Mill. This was the perfect trail and amazing for families that want to experience it all on one trail! Hiking boots are recommended and a headlamp/flashlight may also be helpful to enjoy the caves and find hidden fossils/petroglyphs. Enjoy and stay safe! #ontario #Hiking #daytrip #toronto #nature

Y’all want some crazy views go to Bancroft area it’s so beautiful!! Lakes around every corner mountains and trees that make you feel so small. Went kayaking for the first time at my parents place and it was breathtaking
