I work in a pretty wealthy public school (elementary) and as much as i love the idea, they need to fix the food first. I love what Michelle Obama was trying to do, but it still needs work.

My entire state does this already. It isn’t the best quality of food… but i’m sure a lot more than we are aware of rely on it and it isn’t the absolute worst.

My school district has been giving free breakfast and lunch for the past two years. They do it during the summer too.

I agree with every single word. I was raised by my grandmother and we were very poor. I can only imagine how much this helped my granny. This is a brilliant idea!

I actually love this, and it will help with kiddos who don’t get to eat much at home, and then everyone will get a meal and not have to pay, and if u don’t want to eat at school you can bring your own. I absolutely love this idea!

I’m so sick of the “Who is going to pay for this?” We are! This is where our tax dollars SHOULD be going. I pay tens of thousands every year in taxes, where the eff is that going? Maybe the government needs to budget better…
