On June 23, Kendra Lopez and her children stopped at a Dunkin’ Donuts while heading to school. As she was leaving the restaurant, a man police identified as Dinis Pimentel, allegedly approached Lopez, grabbed her children’s stroller, and screamed “save the kids, save the kids! These are not your children!” As she attempted to fight him off, police say he punched her in the face multiple times. Bystanders stepped in to help Lopez and Pimentel allegedly bit one of them before he ran away. Police found and arrested Pimentel and charged him with attempted kidnapping and assault.
