Have you looked at crossing I-Street in front of the Bentonville Community Center and the Bentonville Animal Services Building. There is a nice trail around the community center and Trail of Two Cities is there and continues onto the other side of I-Street but that is really scary to cross on foot or bike! Sometimes even scary to cross in car! 😳 So many cars and no traffic light or signal to help people cross. It’s so bad.

They are putting a tunnel under Hudson connecting water tower to both sides.

I’m from Bella Vista and ride bikes a lot if you have problems at intersection, you should skip that intersection. You don’t have to go to that Pacific intersection every day you can go around it. You can go another way.

I live 1000 feet from that intersection. My kids and I cross there a couple times a week. It’s not the best, but it’s definitely not the worst. Yes the sidewalk is skinny, but you should have mentioned they just redid all of water tower road with brand new cross walks at the round about and extra wide sidewalks all the way to Hudson minus 100 feet of walkway.

They got an easement from nwacc but Hudson is technically a state owned highway so everything comes to a standstill b/c of that.

Honestly…. Every intersection and road in NWA are bad because people There don’t know how to drive. Constantly crossing center lines into oncoming traffic, no turn signals, camping in the passing lane despite all the signs that say “state law: left lane for passing only”.

it's safer for bikes to be on sidewalks than roads not built for them with aggressive drivers who hate them and wish them harm. most nwa ordinances allow for it also
