Not so true. Jesus story was qritten down 30years later not immediately. And chaged multiple times and translated multiple times. A lot chaged during that time. So those could have been totaly different stories.

why do I not care that what we know of Alexander might be straight up fanfic? because it isn't relevant. Alexander the Great is probably less relevant to my life than Harry Potter. No one is telling me I have to do something because Alexander did something. or that he did something entirely impossible. which is the norm for Jesus. also there are NO primary sources from Jesus' times. the first biblical manuscripts also are not 70 but 100 years later, but oh well. and we do not know they were "eye witnesses" (which by the way is the least reliable kind of witness). in fact authorship to this day isn't 100% sure. just that it is not the evangelists. (Mark is a lot older than Matthew. and Matthew lifts "his own" story word for word from Mark) and non-biblical sources are a LOT thinner. the only one I know also talks about Hercules like a real person so... maybe read Tacitus with a grain or a whole pile of salt
