I had emergency surgery and I went to work the day after I was released and only used ibuprofen. Never changed my diet.

Oh yeah your diet will never be the same. You will keep finding out foods that will need you next to a bathroom asap

I had mine out at the end of May. My pain was 99% gone by week 4 and I could finally lift heavy things. Now I’m lifting as usual. I’m able to eat what I want. I’ve only had 2 instances where I’ve had to RUN to the bathroom but I’ve read that it’s normal in the beginning for some people. If it was laparoscopic, it looks nasty at first but my scars are fading fast.
