THANKSGIVING IS POWERFUL We have been praying and fasting for 21 Days. We believe that God has moved powerfully in our lives. It is time to praise , worship Him and give Him thanks. Thanksgiving is a powerful spiritual practice that connects you with God , opens doors in the spirit and in the physical , heals your soul and enables you to enter the realm of true worship . It opens heavens for you to receive answers to prayer. After you pray, you thank and praise God even if you are still waiting for the manifestation of the answer. Gratitude keeps you in the will of God. Gratitude shows faith. Gratitude shows in the words that you speak. Gratitude is a deep form of worship . People who are not grateful are complainers. God does not like complainers. Gratitude shows your posture of faith. This story shows us God’s attitude towards gratitude vs complaining. The story of Jesus and the ten lepers shows us how important God sees thanksgiving. The Bible says : Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!” When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed. One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.” Luke 17.11-19 One leper was commended for coming back to give thanks. Go back and thank God for the small and big things .No matter what you go through God is there with you. It touches His heart. Thanksgiving also opens the door to greater realms of worship and intimacy with God. Today we are thankful to God for many things . For His goodness and Grace .
