You NEVER know what’s going to happen, Syd. I work in healthcare and I have a patient that is 25 years free of stage four cholangiocarcinoma. He always had a positive outlook and now spends his days going around trying to help others battling cancer. Stay positive and stay strong. There’s so much to energy we don’t understand and positivity has amazing repercussions.

I have a story. My friend’s husband got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 20 years ago. Doctor’s told him he had a 7% chance with operation and chemo. His wife was so upset and sad and he said to her, “Lynda, what is to say I’m not in that 7%!” He’s here 20 years later. That story gave me hope when my daughter was diagnosed with leukemia 4.5 years ago (she’s still here) and I hope it gives you hope. You are right to be hopeful and optimistic. Hugs❤️

My friend is on year 7 of “there are no more options except palliative care”. She didn’t settle and found a trial. She still has cancer but it’s been stable for 7 years in a trial that didn’t work for many, but it worked for her so they have let her stay on it indefinitely

Honey, those comments aren’t about you. They’re about them. You’re the one living your life. I have a friend who had metastic lung cancer. That was 20years ago and she’s been having an incredible life. Hold on to hope.
