I think people missed the part where you said you do it for your health, not for the cost! my dad gardens, and it's a lot of labor, plus the price of plants, water, fertilizer, quality soil, nets to protect from pests, and a whole lot of waiting around. that said, he has consistently delicious veggies that are 100% pesticide free and truly organic. it's a labor of love, and can be expensive, but its rewarding to know that you have quality and delicious food

Wow that’s too much per bird. I’m raising 50 birds for 5$ a bird including the cost of it. Almost 30$ a bird is diabolical

People do not watch the video before commenting. 🤦🏼♀️Scratch & Peck is Organic feed and will be more expensive than cheapo, low-quality feed from the farm store. As stated at the end of the video, buying in bulk can and will save money vs. buying in bags, as this breakdown reflects. We buy our Certified Organic feed from the mill a ton at a time, and it still comes out to $0.50/lb. Higher quality feed for higher quality meat is going to cost more, period.
