Can you talk about doing OIT with Xolair? My son is about to graduate from peanut OIT and recently started Xolair to cover his cashew/pistachio allergy and relief from cold urticaria but his allergist said if he stops Xolair it can effect his OIT and how sensitive he is to peanuts

Im so confused because when I eat shrimp boil I don’t get allergies as in feel tightness, or itchyness but when I eat it fried or grill shrimp I feel the tightness and itchy in my mouth.

The immune system is SO complex, lots of different cell types talking to each other via different chemicals and responding via different signal transduction pathways. I bet there are genetic predisposition genes that aren’t problematic in isolation, yet when combined with other genetic variants, do result in immune response pathways that are easily overstimulated, difficult to shut off. Is there any evidence to support this hypothesis?

I want to know out of nowhere where I can’t have milk . I have a cheese or things that are cook with it . I can’t have ice cream either or white chocolate. I get an itchy mouth and throat , and has never been a problem in my younger years . I want know why does new adult allergic reaction happen ?
