Now do a filtration test. What you gain in flow you lose in filtration. Shorter engine life through more wear through more dirt in the intake.

I've ran a K&N cold air intake on my ram 1500 since day one and have put over 100k miles on it gravel roads and all and I've had no problems at all from it. Maintenance is key

Using KN filters do absolutely nothing but allow more dirt in and give you an intake noise. Put money into real performance, not gimmicks

I love how the they show a paper filter restricting ALL flow, and then put their filter there and it's all the flow. That's not an accurate test AT ALL.

K&N filter, it is not good for stock cars, I tried it on a bmw e60 and the car behaved badly, it stopped pulling, I put the stock air filter and the car came back to life again

I've seen better testing that proves this is BS. OEM filters generally flow extremely well, there is no technology that K&N has that isn't implemented in any other filter. It's an air filter, the engineering isn't complicated.

KN is good for races, you clean it after every race. Daily drivers should have a real filter.

K&N flows more because it filters less. it let's through larger particles than paper filters and coats your intake and MAF in oil. factory filters will out perform K&N

This test is not acurate, this fan has no power compared to engine, so if you want to filter air with fan, then this filter is better. But in reality you can double or triple hp with stock air filter with no problem

The only thing this test shows, is that those kind of filters, filters the same as no filter is installed at all. 😳 So if you look carefully, you can't get a better proof f how bad they are, letting the dust pass by... 😉
