This to me sounds false imo the "casuals" I've found have been bringing sweaty builds, taking advantage of the powers given to them and pushing to finish their objective as efficiently as possible. the only times I do win is when I find players who look new to the event or are just down right awful. when I find a competent player who knows how to play...that's when it becomes the most unbearable experience to ever land in a match of dbd. there are plenty of comp players in the event, despite the base game being a party game, it is also competitive. dbd has slowly shifted from an aysemmetrical horror game to a juicing factory and starved killer in need for consistent 4ks.

i play both survivor & kller. that fart dust for the kllers is actually really strong, i feel like most kllers i go against like barely ever use it tho. i actually like the event, i was bored w twisted masquerade after so many years

Laughed the hardest I have in a while playing the event. It was the invisible buff. The killer quit after losing the 5th or 6th chase from us going invisible. Felt good not to have to “lock in” as a solo survivor. But I get it was unfair to the killer. But I think he was taking it too serious. We had like one gen done in 10 minutes from farming the morsels.

I don’t know why people complain so much I understand the game can be frustrating but it’s just a game I play for fun if the game had a ranked mode built in that would be different you may argue that there is a “ranked system” yes technically there is but it just playtime you don’t have to be good to hit iri 1 but like I said the game is meant to be fun not competitive like when I play with randoms if I make 1 mistake I get kicked

Genuinely why do people take this so seriously. I play the game competitively and my goal is always to win so I play as efficiently as possible. Sometimes as a killer you go against crazy gen rush builds or good sabo squads. Sometimes as a survivor you play against a cracked nurse with meta gen regression builds. At the end of the day just play the game or don’t why are we complaining like both sides don’t have general strengths and weaknesses

honestly have had alot of fun with the event as a survivor, I can see how its def frustrating for killers but most have just tunneled or slugged to secure a win from what ive played. not to mention even in "fair" games where the killer isn't doing that stuff the survivors arent doing gens and mostly doing the fun event stuff so it ends up in the loss anyways. having fun getting all this op stuff for once during the event anddd haven't had any issues with the cakes since the patch im at like 250+ cakes now. happy eventing all

I came back to play the event. been playing as killer and enjoying it. mind you, I using to play to complete a tome task/quest for each side. then stop for the day unless I wanted to try a build out for a bit or wanted to play more. I stop as the notice that there was no reward for even trying to play different characters with different builds. Just focusing on winning feels wrong when playing a game with stakes.

Oh yeah survivor’s can make pallets unbreakable, they can teleport, go invisible and killers can throw poison. The gamemode is definitely not survivor sided!

I'm tired of people acting like the determining factor of something being sided towards killer or survivor is who wins. You can literally get abused the entire game and then clutch a 4k in the end. Bhvr's win stats mean NOTHING if you're trying to figure that out.

I play legion, skull merchant, and trickster and haven’t had any issues countering the survivor buffs. Even when invisible you can still hear them, invincibility is so short it makes no difference. With the right build the instaheal makes no difference in a chase. I’m enjoying the event from both sides and not really noticing a big difference in my matches as killer 🤷♀️If you don’t like the event just place base game and go into the banquet to redeem the bloodpoints for the event cakes

all of this outrage over an optional LIMITED TIME EVENT is insane. also lets be real, alot of comp players on both sides love the fact they get to sweat on and destroy casuals in regular queue. so they lose their minds when LTMs pop up purely for a fun and different and maybe even unbalenced experience purely because it throws off their comp ultra optimised play styles.

Tbh most of the killers ive met, have been friendly or allowed silly moments throughout the game which is a nice break from the usual slugging and tunneling im used to, I truly think however to make the killers side “more fair”, having the poison the killers use do more such as giving a debuff to survivors from eating poisoned food. But truly it is a game, and it’s meant to be for FUN. If you don’t have fun taking killer seriously, play silly/friendly it’s as simple as that imo
