Recipe Name Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Beef Ingredients 1. 3 lb beef chuck roast 2. 2 tbsp olive oil 3. 1 large onion, diced 4. 4 garlic cloves, minced 5. 1 cup barbecue sauce 6. 1/2 cup beef broth 7. 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 8. 2 tbsp brown sugar 9. 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 10. 1 tbsp smoked paprika 11. 1 tsp garlic powder 12. 1 tsp onion powder 13. 1 tsp black pepper 14. 1 tsp salt 15. 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional) Recipe 1. Pat the beef roast dry and season with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne. 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the roast on all sides until deeply browned. 3. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the slow cooker. 4. Place the seared beef on top of the onions. 5. In a bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar. 6. Pour the sauce over the beef. 7. Cover and cook on LOW for 8–10 hours or HIGH for 5–6 hours. 8. Remove the beef and shred it using two forks. 9. Return the shredded beef to the slow cooker and mix with the cooking juices. 10. Cook for another 15–20 minutes so the meat absorbs the sauce. 11. Serve on buns, tacos, baked potatoes, or over rice. 12. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
