I wouldn’t call it padding. I would call it a double layer to actually help hide the small bump. That’s what my kiddo wanted. It was the whole reason she wanted a training bra…to make it not obvious she has bumps. These are great.

There's no padding to take out. My daughter has not developed and just wears them for coverage. They really are perfect.

I’m sure the lining is just for modesty purposes to hide any outlines of body parts, not for added appearance.
