Fine hair girl here! Lost a lot of hair a few years ago due to health reasons. Nizoral 2% shampoo changed the density of my hair more than anything else

Redken extremely lengths is my favourite shampoo, it’s genuinely made a huge difference to the amount of new growth I’ve had and the overall thickness of my hair

I have fine hair and when I went through a period of telogen effluvium, here’s what I did: got my bloods done and took them to my naturopath, she recommended I start taking vitamin d and zinc tablets, I have now switched to the JS Health hair tablets, I also use The Ordinary hair growth serum daily and the Kerastase genesis fortifying shampoo (for fine hair). All these have worked so well and have grown my hair back so much!!

Girl!! My first hair loss symptom was obviously full out but followed by a widening part!! My part fully changed & the kerastase anti fall out shampoo & ordinary hair density serum saved me! Also microfibre towel for post shower instead of regular towel. I literally got to the point I was boiling rosemary water on the stove & strained in into a spray bottle & used it every day on my roots 😅😅

As a fellow thin hair girly who had a wide part line I would highly recommend seeing a dermatologist about this. This is how I found out I had alopecia. I’m also in Melbourne so DM me if you want to know where I went etc

Hey queen! I have the same issues and my hair is so frizzy, even close to the root! My hair dresser said she wouldn’t even recommend products, she would recommend I see a trichologist (hair specialist) and they can look at your scalp from a holistic level to see what’s going on

Get some bloods from your GP done, just to ensure you’re not deficient in anything, and/or hormones! And at the same time get a referral to a dermatologist. Lessen slick backs, and heat for a while too 💕

Very similar hair to you and also going through the same thing! I’ve been trying minoxidil for a few months now. Definitely have a lot of new baby hairs coming through after a couple months of use.

Pony tail breakage can be brutal for us thin hair girls and adds to what looks like breakage around the top. Lose clips are the go!

As an alopecia girly, recommend a referral to dermatologist. They’ll do full blood panels as it can be hormones in females and then they’ll recommend things that work. Topicals you can buy over the counter generally don’t work and are a waste of your money! ♥️♥️

Bouf is also fantastic!! Helps your hair stay in place and grow for longer!! It’s not overnight results but I think it helps x

The Miele rosemary hair oil is amazing and thickened my hair a lot! You just have to be consistent and using it three times a week for a few months

Girlie sorry to hear this. I’ve been going through the same and did major research - ginger as an ingredient in hair care is your saving grace when it comes to hair loss (widening part). That’s why people rave about Kerestase’s hair-fall line or the L’Oréal line. I found Virtue Labs Flourish range the best (Sephora is a stockist) and the ginger is higher up the ingredient list than the other two! Highly recommend it goes on sale for 25% off too xx

Add a few drops of rosemary oil into your shampoo each time you wash your hair! Definitely helped me with my post partum hair loss!

I’m in the same boat! I’m trying the ordinary hair serum & loreal growth booster daily, and taking multivitamins + eating enough protein. I’m only a couple weeks in, hoping it makes a difference.

Kerastase anti fall serum does really help. I’ve also been using a scalp massager and massaging my scalp when shampooing for a GOOD 5 minutes. Really make sure your scalp is clean. I’ve just bought the nizoral shampoo to try too. Also check your bloods and iron, mine was super low x
