As a resident of Eagle Rock, then Montrose, I’ve been there often. Love the food & place. What to order: filet mignon, cheesy garlic bread, endless salad with Sherry French dressing served family style at table, Chi Chi. Go next door to Porto’s for dessert.

I was a host there for a couple years back in the 90s and I love that place so much! The food, the decor and the drinks were just the freaking best!

You used to be able to add a cup of shrimp to the salad at the table for $1 then $2. It was so good. They don’t do that anymore, obviously. It’s still such a great place!

LOVE Damons! Actually, they tore down the Original location for a stripmall next to the Galleria. The Cheesecake Factory in the Americana sits where the original Damons was.
