My 4 1/2 year-old daughter has a dalmatian. It’s a dalmatian mix, but still is her literal best friend. I cannot even put it into the words, but they sleep together every single night.

Make sure you do extensive prodding and prying with her as a puppy. Dalmatians aren’t good family dogs unless trained right! They are known to be nippy with kids
