@fox12oregon: 23-year-old Alyson Rowe is autistic and can’t drive a vehicle. Her way of getting around was with a bike that was customized to meet her needs. But on Thursday in Vancouver, Rowe’s bike was stolen. Rowe’s caregiver, Malik, said the apartment complex doesn’t have cameras, making it difficult to identify who took it. “This has really taken away her independence and just go be a part of the normal world that we take for granted,” said Malik. About five years ago, Rowe and her mom saved up so they could afford the bike, and Malik said they bought it when it was on sale.
