We were in the hospital with my nanna, she was unconscious for 3 days, we waited by her side and didn’t sleep until one night we went into deep sleep, we woke up and she was gone. She didn’t want us to hear her death sounds or watch her life leave, I will always believe that she was protecting us

Oh baby she spent her time with you and then went home while you were away so you couldn’t ask her to stay her soul loved you so much she would have😭 my nana did the same thing i was awake alllllll night fell asleep on the floor next to her bed for FIVE MINUTES and she was gone❤️

My mom was on hospice in my living room. I sat and slept in a kitchen chair next to her bed for three days. The last day, I finally left her side for just a second to go grab my baby that woke up in my bedroom. I was just around the corner and when I came back, my mom was gone.

I believe that was on purpose. My grandma one night told my grandpa and I we needed to leave right now! Her mom had dinner ready, and there wasn't enough to go around. We didn't want to leave, but she started getting angry. We left, she passed.
