so, for those of you asking why he didn't move up, here's why. trucks already overflowing, most jobs are MULTIPLE trucks, and most asphalt plants host SEVERAL paving jobs. when the door finally closes, the cleanup ON THE SCALE is minimal, and the plant get get more trucks through very soon, whereas if the truck MOVES, the scale takes longer to clear so the other trucks can load. it's a courtesy thing, and goes a LONG WAY towards getting your companies trucks through more urgently later on.
