You guys realize they could say no and she’d accept that right? It doesn’t hurt to ask. “Is the flight fully booked? If it isn’t can I be moved to an empty row?” “Sorry this is a full flight.” “Okay, no problem. Thank you for checking.” This is a good suggestion.

The amount of people being rude in this comment section is insane. I understand most people don’t like when babies are on flights but what are parents supposed to do? It’s wrong to leave your child at home with a babysitter for a day let alone a week. But it’s also wrong to bring them with you. Parents are allowed to be humans and allowed to be adults. You’re not going to die because of baby is crying. You have headphones to put them on. If you don’t have headphones, flight attendant will usually hand out earplugs. And if you’re worried the flight attendant won’t have earplugs then you buy yourself a pack they’re cheap.
