Simple, Nepotism. Some characters are not even close to appearance like Azula but her acting, vibe and energy matched to Azula. But this Mai cant even run fast she seems so heavy and her acting doesnt even comes close to Mai's. Sokka actor looks way diffrent to, but his acting, vibe and energy, the way he speaks and move is very Sokka coded.
